DR SHANSHAN WANG'S ART WORKS

Everyone is his/her own artist

Dr Shanshan Wang herself is an artist and has many years’ experience in both traditional Chinese painting and Western art forms. Shanshan began to practise traditional Western drawings and paintings almost simultaneously with Chinese painting. One style of traditional Chinese paintings is called "Gongbi" (meticulous), which is sometimes referred as "court style" painting. The other traditional Chinese painting style is called "Xieyi", referred to as "free style" painting. Shanshan has experimented with sketching, drawing, watercolour, gouache and oil painting. Several years ago when she was living in Germany, she made collages.

The current collection contains Shanshan's recent art works, all made in Western styles. They are curated to accompany by Shanshan's finest vintage handbags and clutch bag collections.
