Han dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD)

Description: Painted grey earthenware jars are typical from Han dynasty but this large one painted with a vivant flying dragon in red and white pigments is rare. Both the lid and the body remaining intact makes it extremely collectable. The lid was painted with a circle with a star. The dragon has always been a sign for the implorer, which is among the most popular decorations to the Chinese ceramics regardless their function's.
